The Full Story

Owner and trainer Jillian has always felt drawn to animals. So much so that her mother always thought that she would end up a Marine Biologist, living in Montana with a horse farm. Well, that didn't happen but she found her love for dog training early on as she offered to help train family member's dogs. Then, it really sunk in once she adopted a dog of her own. Echo, a Belgian Malinois, was probably the first dog many first time dog owners do not wish for. She came with her own set of challenges right off the get go. At 9 weeks, she was already showing fear aggression, along with other reactivity and resource guarding behaviors. This is where Jill's instinct and passion to solve problems kicked in and her love of dog training sky rocketed. She sought help from trusted professionals of all kinds such as behaviorists, trainers and vets to gain knowledge and an understanding of Echo's needs and a training plan began to develop.

Belgian Malinois

Hours were spent with Echo working on various different behavioral issues. Echo taught Jill patience, how to really get into the mind of a dog and learn that not all techniques work for every dog. From there, she rescued her second Malinois, Fox. He is a complete 180 from his sister and comes with his own set of challenges. Jill's love for training has made her attentive to different dog's needs related to age, breed & sex. Knowing that she can bring out the best in her dogs, made her want to be able to help those around her bring out the best in theirs.
